Fibaro Walli Dimmer

Conclusion:

With this Walli you can switch a lamp on or off remotely. You can also determine the dim level and it measures the energy of the connected lamp. You can view the total and current consumption.

LED, halogen and incandescent lamps can be connected to the Walli.

The Walli in a flush-mounted box, so the "technical" part is no longer visible. So you only see the normal switch. Now I say normal, but this dimmer is certainly not. It has an elegant design and has a round LED ring around the switch which lights up when you turn it on.

The operation is carried out by pressing the top of the button to turn it on and the bottom of the button to turn it off. If you want to dim, keep the button pressed.

The Wali has a scene / click function, so you can start a certain scene by clicking twice. You could then, for example, turn off all your lights in the living room.

Connecting the Walli is not very complicated. A clear schematic is included and it is a matter of removing the old dimmer and connecting the new one. You can connect it with or without (ZERO / blue) wire. So no extra wires need to be drawn. You can connect a maximum of 350W of lamps to it.

The dimmer has a calibration function to properly set the connected lamp. This prevents the lamp from flashing.

It works via the wireless Z-Plus protocol and is available for € 76.50. This is not the cheapest solution because it is better to opt for a separate built-in dimmer. But if you include your switching material, the costs are higher.

So: Are you looking for a nice way to make your lamps smart? Then the Walli Dimmer is your partner.
