Viaroom

If you have a smart home, you naturally want your house to be automated and you don't have to think about anything anymore. When you leave you want your lights to go out, the heating to be turned down and your alarm to go on. When you get home you want everything to turn on again. Viaroom has come up with a smart solution for this.

If you have a smart home, you naturally want your house to be automated and you don't have to think about anything anymore. When you leave you want your lights to go out, the heating to be turned down and your alarm to go on. When you get home you want everything to turn on again. Viaroom has come up with a smart solution for this.

Your personal chef

On the Viaroom website people talk about your personal chef who knows your preferences. He learns these preferences by looking at your behavior and thus adjusting your sensors and lamps to this.

Save energy
Because the system knows when a lamp must be switched on or off, you will of course save energy. After all, the lamp is not switched on unnecessarily. The Viaroom can also make this clear by giving a green leaf. With this he indicates that savings are being made. Viaroom indicates that it wants to participate in the future.

So everyone knows my behavior like that?
You can of course wonder whether it is as safe if this system knows exactly when you are there and not. Viaroom indicates that all data is stored locally in your system and that a firewall is built into the system. The system also works when there is no internet.

Freedom of choice in systems
What makes Viaroom unique is that it is not tied to one specific system. You can connect Philips HUE, Fibaro Home Center 2 and Vera system. When I look at the Viaroom website, the support is still somewhat limited. But Viaroom is already, for example, supporting the Zipabox and many other systems. Good to know is that it will run alongside your existing home automation system. We will test it with the HC2.

What do you get:

- Viaroom HUB
- Remote control with battery
- HDMI cable
- Adapter
