Alecto Weather Station - WS-5500

Weather Underground:

Now that we have everything installed, we can connect the weather station to Weather Underground. This gives you extensive statistics and makes it possible to show everything in your Smart Home system.

Step 1:

The first step is to see if your router is on WPA2-PSK-AES encryption. This is standard for most routers, so you probably don't need to change anything.

Then connect to your own 2.4GHz network.

Step 2:

Now we need to download the WSView APP, which is available for iOS and Android. After some permissions and steps you will come to the opening screen, after which we press next. We then select the WS-5500 (make sure it is turned on). Now we need to create a hotspot from the WS-5500. You can do this by simultaneously pressing the WIND and PRESSURE for 5 seconds. The WiFi icon will then flash with the text M-B. Then click on next.

Step 3:

Now the screen is like a hotspot and we need to start connecting our phone to it. You can do this by using the scan button and selecting your own network and entering the correct password.

Then save all this and connect in the next screen. Now we have to select the WiFi of the weather station and click on next a few times.
