Fibaro Home Center 3

The APP:

A good APP should of course not be missing from a smart home system. Fibaro has made quite some progress in this last year. Their APP was always a bit behind the competition. There is a version for both Android and iOS available and you can put it in the Dutch language. We will show you some features of the APP.

The first step is to link the APP to your HC3. This is not very complicated because we have already created a Fibaro ID. If you don't have this yet, I would just create it. You can also log in without this Fibaro ID by using your local user. You can only access it if you are also locally connected to your network.

When I am logged in you have to select your HC3 so that it can connect.

Main screen:

At the top of the main screen are a kind of shortcuts to, among other things, change your alarm and your profile (home, away, etc.). Below you can immediately start a scene, this is super handy. Below you will find your favorite devices and your rooms.

At the very bottom you will find your devices, scenes and settings.

The APP is quite logical and switching a device on/off works well. The fact that you can start a scene immediately is also a nice addition. Switching your alarm on/off is also included and is available immediately after start-up.

Yet the APP is very basic. I miss for example being able to add devices or create and manage users.
